Performance incentives are what Innovative School Funding gets when a lot of people order items after clicking on our ads. Some performance incentives are based on number of purchases and some are based on dollar amounts. Innovative School Funding donates the same amount back to your school regardless of the incentive!
An example of this is Amazon.com. They offer a higher commission if a certain number of items are ordered each month. So, even though the base commission we get is 4%, if we get enough orders through the various churches we represent, then the commission can jump to 6% or higher. Again, we then donate back to the church based on the 6% commission and not the 4%! We do not get into details for each individual ad because most of the details are complicated and not necessary for most purchases. However, we always donate back the percentage of our commission, whatever it may be. Some cases even exist when we do not receive a commission at all. This is also very complicated (often involving purchases made from other vendors within the given store or some sale items), and we will always post the sale regardless of the commission earned. Your donation is simply based on what we are able to receive from the ads, and of course we all want that to be as high as possible. Sometimes the amount will be more than expected because of performance incentives, and sometimes it will be lower because of the commission structure. |
